So another piece of good news. A game I worked on, The Downward Doghouse game, Kai-Lans First Lantern Festival was nominated for a Broadcast Design Award. You can find this game in the “Animation” section of my site. I’ll report back if it wins, cross your fingers!!
Another year another dollar… well I hope for more than one dollar. I have been working at a fever pitch on my film, “Automatic Doors”. You can look at a clip on the home page of this site. I wanted it to be a view of the process that I use to make the film. Otherwise the 3.5 second shot seems a bit anti-climatic for almost a months worth of work.
Also I am still working on the comic. Though that has taken a back seat for the past month. Ill post some images later from it once I get more done.
Happy New Year! Welcome to ‘05! Well good news for me at the beginning of the year, I made staff at Nickelodeon, so now I get benefits and all that stuff. On top of that I am leaving for Italy next Tuesday. My film “I Am” is part of the short film selection along with Bill Plympton’s “Guard Dog”. The festival is called Future Film Festival.
I will take lots of pictures and post them in 2 weeks.

Well, it has been several months since I came back from France. I finally got my pictures of the Annecy Animation Festival up… so check them out!
Oh boy, I have gone another long period without doing anything here. Its not all for naught though. In August I got hired by Nick Jr. Online to a Flash Animation position Since then its been a lot of endless nights and some weekend work. But in the end I was able to finish my first “game” err well “story”. Dora’s Fairytale Fietsa animated story book. It was a lot of fun to work on and I had some time to put some descent animation into it. It’s currently living on NickJr.com.
Other than that I am still working on my new comic on the side, though some of that had to take the back seat while I was busy. I will post some art soon, as well as some of the Pandora Mink stuff I did earlier in the summer.

Well it has been quite a while since I have posted here. My job at TVI Designs is going well.
Other than that I am in Annecy, France right now, attending the Annecy Animation Film Festival as press for my company Animators Unite, Inc. Originally I was going to go as part of Bill Plympton’s group, but he convinced me that a press pass was better. I guess that it is being that now I don’t have to get up at 7 am to stand in line for my tickets.
I spent most of the weekend in Paris with Brain and Stacey, who are also here at the festival. We wen to the Lourve, Efiel Tower and to many other things. After that I took the TGV to Annecy, which is about 300 km away.
Any who, I have to get back to watching films. Here is a link to pics for my first days here, none of Annecy yet, I will try and get to those later.

Once again it has been a while. I have been busy running all over NYC. Unfortunately not really being all that productive. Oh well. I did however throw up two films that I did while working at Visual Arts Press. I hope you enjoy them: new animation.

I just came off of a really tiring project, a website for a jazz compilation CD and book for children. I was a lot of work squeezed into a really short time. Over all I think that it came out pretty good though. Here is the line http://www.nickythejazzcat.com.

I feel so naive now… I mean I keep up with nothing. My whole life is consumed with figuring out how to make money. I guess that’s the plight of being freelance. Though it is nice in the fact that it allows me to concentrate on my comic book.
